Successful Organization of the 2nd International Workshop on Process Mining for Sustainability (PM4S 2025)

We are pleased to announce that our head of department István Koren co-organized the 2nd International Workshop on Process Mining for Sustainability (PM4S 2025) together with colleagues from RWTH Aachen University (Germany), Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany), and Universidad de la República (Uruguay).

The workshop brought together researchers exploring how process mining can contribute to environmental and social sustainability. PM4S 2025 featured full papers covering topics such as fairness in business processes, reducing food waste in retail, and measuring environmental impacts in organizational workflows. The presentations stimulated lively discussions and opened new directions for future research.
